Samsung launched 2 new smartphones Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A5 in India. A5 is priced 29400/- while A7 is priced 33400/-. Sale for these smartphones will start from 15 February on Snapdeal and all offline retailers. Both phones are coming with fingerprint scanner. Samsung has also announced 30 GB of free data for 6 months with Airtel.
Processor RAM and Memory:
Both phone are powered by Exynos 7580 octa-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz. Processor of A7 is clubbed with 3 GB RAM while A5 is clubbed with 2 GB RAM. Both has 16 GB internal storage and a SD card slot upto 128 GB.
Operating System:
These smartphones are running on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. There is no further news about Marshmallow upgrade but We can expect it in near future.
Display and Design:
Galaxy A7 has 5.5 inch big AMOLED display while A5 has 5.2 inch AMOLED display. Both display has full-HD resolution. Both phone has corning gorilla glass 4 protection on display as well as at back panel.
Dimensions of A7 are 151.5x74.1x7.3 mm and 172 grams weight while A5 are 144.8x71.0x7.3 mm and 155 grams weight.Touch experience and Viewing angles of display are very good. Phones are very slim and looks pretty in hand.
Camera:
Both mobile sports 13 mega pixel rear camera with f/1.9, optical image stabilization (OIS), auto focus and LED flash. Camera also had some features like Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR. FOr selfie lovers both phone comes with 5 MP camera.
Battery:
Galaxy A5 is backed with 2900 mah Li-Ion battery while A7 is backed with 3300 mAh battery. Both are non-removable batteries and supports fast charging. Batteries are good enough to give 1 day backup for normal uses.
Connectivity:
A5 and A7 both supports 4G LTE connectivity in India along with EDGE/GPRS and 3G networks. Both phones also comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, USB 2.0, FM, GPS (A-GPS, GLONASS) connectivity.
