The smartphone users of India are ready to welcome a new entrant in the smartphone market. The joint venture between Chinese smartphone company Coolpad and internet security firm Qihoo 360 are ready to enter in the highly competitive smartphone market of the Asia. They have launched three devices but the heart stealing phone is the Qiku Q Terra. Qiku would launch it in the range of Rs. 20000/- claiming it as a flagship device. Its features support the companies claim.

Processor& Memory

Due to heating concerns Q Terra is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hex core chipset.  It 3 GB RAM with 16 GB of ROM expandable up to 128 GB with micro SD. This processor and RAM is enough to play and high end game. For a flagship device fingerprint scanner is very common feature so Q Terra also has a fingerprint sensor at the back along with App Freeze, Fast Charge and Fast 4G with up to 300 Mbps speed.

Operating System

Q Terra runs on the 360 UI on top of Android 5.1.1 and supports Micro and Nano-SIM. As Qihoo is a security firm so users may feel secure about the security issues related with phone such as viruses and bloat wares.

Display and Camera

It has a vibrant 6-inch IPS FHD display with 1080p resolution, managing an excellent screen-to-body ratio of 82% (6.2 x 3.14 x 0.35 in / 157.6 x 79.8 x 8.6 mm). It has a fully metallic body made of aluminum-magnesium alloy.  The unique feature of Q Terra is its twin rear cameras of 13 MP each, by the courtesy of Sony. Camera lens is powered by Sony sensors and company tells that this twin camera technology aids the low light photography, also for selfie lovers it has 8 MP front camera which produces magnificent pictures.

Battery

To support such powerful specs it has a 3700 mAh battery doesn’t mentioned whether it is removable or not. On papers Q Terra may give a tough competition to its competitors like Nexus 5s, One+ 2 and the so called Beast Yutopia but for reality check we have to wait till the date of its users response.
