Here is a good news for all Moto G Turbo users. Marshmallow update is rolling now for G Turbo users in India. Phone was launched last month at 14499/- but the price of phone is slashed now to 12499/-. Phone is running on Lollipop, but now you can enjoy Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Moto G Turbo edition.
This update is currently rolling in India. This update is available through OTA(Over the air). The size of update is 445 MB, so users should download it. This update will roll out is phases and every users will get this update in 2 or 3 days. Phone will show you a notification for system update. You can also check this update manually. If you are Moto G Turbo users then you can check this update by going to Settings> About Phone> System Update. Now check for updates.
Marshmallow has so many features like Google on Tap, App permission control, Android mobile payment system, DND (Do not Disturb), Doze Mode. You can block notification for specific time duration. Let us know in Detail:
Google On Tap: This features helps you find things and managing different events. When you long press your home button the Google on Tap will activate and check the information on screen. It will find important things appearing on screen and give you accurate results.
App Permissions Control: This features helps you to control permissions asked by apps. You can block selected apps from accessing different permissions like, location, data connection, contacts and a lot more. This features makes your phone more secure.
DND: You can disable notification with single Tap. In notification bar a tile is added as DND, so activate it from there.
Doze Mode: By activation Doze mode your battery consumption reduces. This is one of the important feature of Marshmallow. It force stops the apps which runs in background.
Moto also has made some difference features apart from Marshmallow. After upgrading to Marshmallow you will see Moto assist is removed. As marshmallow includes DND, which works in similar way as Moto Assist works.
Some Tips before updating:
Please charge your phone at-least 40 % before proceeding to installation of new OS as it takes some time. Do not put it on charge at the time of installation.
