Lite variant of Coolpad note 3 is launched in India at affordable price of 6999/-. It features fingerprint sensor at back which makes it different from other smartphones in the price range. This is cheapest phone with fingerprint sensor in India. This mobile is available through flash sales on Amazon only. First sale for this smartphone is on 28th January and registration for the sale are open now.
Processor Memory and OS:
It comes with 64 bit, 1.3 GHz Quad-core mediatek processor. Processor unit is coupled with 3 GB LPDDR3 RAM. It has 16 GB internal space and expandable storage up to 64 GB via SD card. Note 3 lite runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operation system and Cool UI 6 on top of it. Cool UI gives a lot of gestures and optimizations. Coolpad has assured that it will receive Android Marshmallow update soon. Comparing to Coolpad Note 3 the number of cores are reduced and RAM and storage is same.
Camera & Display:
CoolPad Note 3 Lite feature 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and 5 MP front camera for selfie. It has 5 Inch IPS HD display with 720p resolution. Phone is quite handy to use and looks pretty in hand. It has fingerprint sensor at the back. Comparing to coolpad note 3 camera is same while display size is reduced.
Battery and Connectivity:
It has 2500 mAh non-removable battery. Battery size is reduced in this lite version. For connectivity it has 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB 2.0 etc.
Verdicts:
This is cheapest phone with fingerprint sensor till date. Also in the same range no phone has 3 GB RAM. This is an advantage of this phone. Its 13 MP camera is also highlight of this phone. Cool UI is one of the best user interface so you will love a lot of optimization on your phone. I am some what disappointed with processor. Over all phone is worth buying for 6999/-.
