Gionee has launched lite version of Marathon M5. This phone was launched in china last month and finally came to India. This mobile is available on its official online store. You can buy this phone at a price of 12999/-. As Marathon series is known for battery, M5 Lite has 4000 mAh battery as highlight. Gionee claims that Marathon M5 has capacity to run about 3 days with normal regular uses and 39 days standby backup. You can also use this phone as power bank to charge your other smartphones or tablets.
Processor Memory & OS:
It has 1.3 GHz mediatek MT6735 Quad-core process along with Mali-T720MP2 GPU. This processor has support of 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. It has a card slot to expand memory upto 128 GB. Processor of the smartphone is good enough but some lags will occur with high graphic games. Smartphone is running on Android 5.1 along with Amigo 3.1 user interface. Amigo UI gives a lot of optimisations and better security for your phone. There is no news about its further upgradation.
Camera:
It features 8 MP rear camera with flash and CMOS sensor and 5 MP front facing camera for selfie purpose. Camera also has some features like face detection/smile detection, geo-tagging, HDR, panorama, touch focus etc.
Display and Design:
It has 5 inch IPS HD display with a resolution of 720 pixels (294 Pixels per Inch). With 5 inch display phone is quite handy to use and you can operate it with single hand. Dimensions of the phone are very symmetric hence it looks pretty. It comes in gold color which make its look more premium. As phone is only 5 inch display and its diensions are 143x69.9x8.5mm and 182 gm.

Gionee Marathon M5 Lite has some nice features like 3 GB RAM 32 GB internal storage which helps you to store a lot of files and apps without worrying about lagging. It also has 4000 mAh battery, hence if you are looking for a phone with long battery backup the go for it.
In the same price range we have so many smartphones in India which gives better camera, processor, and Pixel density. If you love to take picture or you love to play high graphic games then go for alternative mobile phones.
