So finally the most awaited smartwatch of Samsung are available in India.On Thursday 21st January Samsung Gear G2 and G2 classic launched in India. Both smartwatch are available to buy via Samsung physical retail channels priced G2 24300/- and G2 classic 25800/-. Samsung has also launched Gear VR headset priced 8200/-.
Smartwatch G2 and G2 Classic:
Both smartwatch features 1.2 Inch AMOLED display with 360x360p resolution and 302 PPI (pixel per inch). These smartwatches are powered with 1 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of storage. Both watches are waterproof as well as dust proof. G2 and G2 classic are backed with 250 mAh battery with wireless charging support. It may give you a typical backup of 2 or 3 days after a single full charge.
Both are circular design. At the event company said that rotating bezel is highlight of these watches. Users can access information with the help of this bezel.Smartwatch features all important sensors i.e. accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate, ambient light, and barometer.
G2 works with Android devices with minimum 1.5 GB RAM and running Android 4.4 KitKat of above. Currently these watches does not works with iOS but Samasung assured that these watches will soon support iOS devices.

This VR headset is runs on Oculus VR software. You can also buy it from companies physical stores. Samsung claims that this headset is 19% lighter than previous one. It also has touch-pad control.Gear VR has a wide viewing angle of 96 degree.Dimensions of Gear VR are 201.9x116.4x92.6 mm and 318 grams weight. It comes with gyro, accelerometer, and proximity sensors.
You can charge it via Micro-USB. It will support 360 degree videos. Supported devices with this Gear VR are Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Edge Galaxy Note 5, and the newly launched Note 5 Duos.
