Samsung Launched Smartwatch Gear S2 and S2 Classic and Gear VR Headset in India

So finally the most awaited smartwatch of Samsung are available in India.On Thursday 21st January Samsung Gear G2 and G2 classic launched in India. Both smartwatch are available to buy via Samsung physical retail channels priced G2 24300/- and G2 classic 25800/-. Samsung has also launched Gear VR headset priced 8200/-. 

Smartwatch G2 and G2 Classic:

Both smartwatch features 1.2 Inch AMOLED display with 360x360p resolution and 302 PPI (pixel per inch). These smartwatches are powered with 1 GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of storage. Both watches are waterproof as well as dust proof. G2 and G2 classic are backed with 250 mAh battery with wireless charging support. It may give you a typical backup of 2 or 3 days after a single full charge.

Both are circular design. At the event company said that rotating bezel is highlight of these watches. Users can access information with the help of this bezel.Smartwatch features all important sensors i.e. accelerometer, gyroscope, heart rate, ambient light, and barometer.

G2 works with Android devices with minimum 1.5 GB RAM and running Android 4.4 KitKat of above. Currently these watches does not works with iOS but Samasung assured that these watches will soon support iOS devices.

Gear VR headset:

This VR headset is runs on Oculus VR software. You can also buy it from companies physical stores. Samsung claims that this headset is 19% lighter than previous one. It also has touch-pad control.Gear VR has a wide viewing angle of 96 degree.Dimensions of Gear VR are 201.9x116.4x92.6 mm and 318 grams weight. It comes with gyro, accelerometer, and proximity sensors. 

You can charge it via Micro-USB. It will support 360 degree videos. Supported devices with this Gear VR are Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Edge Galaxy Note 5,  and the newly launched Note 5 Duos.

Asus Zenwatch 2 Lauched In India

Asus has launched Zenwatch2 in India. This smart watch has 2 size variants as 1.45 inch priced 11999/- and 1.63 inch priced 14999/-. You can buy these watches from online retailer flipkart. Asus says that Zenwatch will be available on Asus store in near future.

It has snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with Adreno 306 GPU. You can silent your incoming calls by covering watch with another hand. You can connect it with your phone via Bluetooth of Wi-Fi. 

Zenwatch is waterproof upto 1-meter for 30 minutes. Watches has 300 mAh and 400 mAh battery respectively so the watches gives a backup upto 3 days for single charge. Look wise watches are great. Zenwatch 2 has 9 different changeable straps. It also has a crown button which gives Echoes traditional watch styling. This crown button also helps to interact with Zenwatch 2.

Zenwatch2 has smart assistant which gives you timely information at a glance with touch and voice command. ZenWatch 2 runs on android wear. Also has Zen UI integrated for better optimization.

Apple Smart Watch coming to India This Festival

Finally Apple smart watch is coming to Indian market. This is really a good news for those who were waiting for this smart watch. Apple was launched about 6 months ago but it was not available in India.  It will be available from 6th November that is on festival session.Price for the watch is still not disclosed but it is expected to be priced about ₹25K to ₹30K. 

There will be two sizes of smart watch as 38mm and 42mm. Apple will launch 3 variants of this watch, which are Apple Watch, Apple Watch Edition and Apple Watch Sport. 

Key Features:

• Force touch: Apple watch has force touch which is not present in other smartwatches in market. It will function same as in iPhone. It will detect different pressures exerted on it and respond accordingly.
• Digital Crown: It is a physical button on watch which can be used to return to home in watch. In normal watches this crown is used to set time and alarm in watches.
• This watch provides mic and speaker so that we can attend calls over it while connected to iPhone. It can be connected via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to iPhone.
• It also has some important features like Siri, tracking users' fitness, third-party app support, Phone calls, message. 
• User can browse photos from iPhone in this smart watch.
