Manually update Yuphoria to Official Cyanogen 12.1

Official lollipop based CM 12.1 update is rolling for all Yu Yuphoria smartphones. This update is rolling in phases so you have to wait for your turn. It may take about 2 weeks to reach every smartphone. If you can't wait then here we have manual method to update your Yuphoria. Just follow simple steps given below and update your Yuphoria to cyanogen OS 12.1. Follow video to understand better

You can easily flash update manually and you will not loose any data. Your all files, apps, games and data is safe. For safety purpose make a backup of your files and apps before flashing ROM.

Requirements:

• You should be on official cyanogen 12 operating system. If you are on any custom ROM then you can't flash this file.
• If you are rooted then you should have stock cyanogen recovery. (Follow video link below to install cyanogen recovery  
• This file can be flashed on both rooted and non-rooted Yuphoria.
• Battery should be 60% charged.

Instructions:

1. First download zip file (click here to download) and place it into your internal/external storage directly.
2. Now go to about phone and click 7 times on build number.
3. Go to developer’s option and turn on advance reboot.
4. Now long press power button and select reboot then recovery. Finally select ok.
5. Now your phone will boot to recovery mod. Click on apply update.
6. Select storage where you have placed your file and select the ZIP file.
7. Recovery will start flashing your update.
8. Done.

After the process completes just select wipe delvik cache and then select reboot now. Now it may take about 15 min for fist boot so just wait for it.

Install Official Cyanogen OS 12.1 on Yureka Plus Running Android 4.4 Kitkat

As we know cyanogen 12.1 is rolling on Yureka and Yureka plus. If you are using Yureka on stock (Android 4.4.4 KitKat) the follow instructions given and get official cyanogen 12.1 update.

Important:

• No need to root your phone.
• It will not void your warranty.
• You will get all official updates in future.
• It will erase you all data in phone.
• Watch video to understand steps in better way.

Requirements:

• Desktop/Laptop running on windows operating system.
• Yureka Plus running Android 4.4.4 Kitkat.
• Data cable.

Procedure:

1. First download zip file (684 MB) and extract it in a folder. Click here to download.
2. Go to setting ->about phone then click 7 times on build number. It will turn on your developer’s option.
3. Now open developer’s option and turn on USB debugging.
4. Power off your smartphone.
5. Now press and hold volume up key and connect your phone via USB cable. It will boot you in fast boot mode.
6. Open the extracted folder and double click on flash. You will get a window.
7. Just follow onscreen instructions.
8. Startup will take about 10 to 15 Minutes so wait for it.
9. Enjoy.

OTA update is rolling on Moto G 3rd Generation

An incremental update for moto G 3rd generation is rolling now. There were some bugs in software so Moto has fixed them in this update. This is not Android Marshmallow but an incremental update of lollipop 5.1.1 operating system. This update is rolling in phases.This update has fixed Security vulnerability, Night mode in camera and stability. 

Security Vulnerability: Basic problem solved in security is mechanism used to retrieving a message sent via Multimedia.  

Camera Improved: This update has added night mode in camera app. Now you can shoot better picture with your camera in night mode.

Stability: Some minor bugs which causes stability of smartphone are fixed.

Before updating your phone be sure your battery should be at least 50% charged. You will receive a notification when update is available for you so just tap "Yes I’m in". 

Steps to update:

1. Go to Phone setting followed by about phone.
2. Tap on system update and download it. (57 MB)
3. After software get downloaded then install it.
4. Phone will boot to recovery mode automatically, so just wait for its completion.
5. You are updated now.

Asus Zenfone Announced Marshmallow Update

Android 6.0 Marshmallow was launched on 28 October. It has made a rumour in smartphone world with its so many new features like battery optimisation, app permissions an Google on tap. Today Asus has confirmed Marshmallow update for smartphones. Asus has leaked the list of devices to get Marshmallow update. 

Asus devices to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow

• ZenFone Selfie ZD551KL 
• Zenfone 2 (ZE550ML and ZE551ML)
• Zenfone 2 Deluxe (ZE551ML)
• ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE500KG, ZE500KL, ZE550KL, ZE600KL, ZE601KL)
• PadFone S (PF500KL)

Above mentioned devices would get marshmallow update in upcoming couple of months. Asus has started working to give this update. One thing you should note that device with model number mentioned above would get this update.  Still dates for roll out are not confirmed so wait and watch.

Update Yureka & yureka plus Manually to CM 12.1 OS

Hello guys the CM 12.1 update for Yureka and Yureka plus is rolling now. As update is rolling in phases so every one of us has to wait for our turn. But if you can’t wait and want to update it now then follow steps given bellow and update is manually.

Steps to Update Yureka and Yureka Plus Manually:

1. Click the link bellow to download the signed file. You have to download signed file because you can flash it through recovery, which is easy and fast method. 
2. (Click to download Zip file). 
3. Now put this file in your Internal/SD card. (Put is directly in root folder hence finding file is easy.)
4. Now open developers option in settings. Check advance reboot option and turn it on. (If you can't see the developers option then go to about phone and click 7 times on build number, your developers option will get unlocked.)
5. Now long press power button and click reboot. Now click on recovery. Now wait till phone boot to recovery.
6. Now click on apply update then choose storage (Internal/SD), where you have your file.
7. Select the Zip file that you have download. Recovery will start flashing this file. Wait till it get installed.
8. Done and Enjoy.

 Requirements:

1. Keep your battery min 70% charge.
2. As usual system has so many apps so it will take about 8 to 12 minutes to reboot so don’t worry about it.
3. Flash through Cyanoger 12 recovery only.
